Once you send a booking request, the host is notified that you are interested in their listing. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your booking.
Hosts are mainly interested in the profile of their guest. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your booking will more likely get approved.
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every listing. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the hosts on Flatio.
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the host and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
In the event that you move in and the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio, let us know as soon as possible!
If the conditions for the withdrawal are met and the host can't fix the issue immediately, you have the option to withdraw from the lease agreement with a full refund. We'll also actively help you find an alternative accommodation and remain by your side until everything is fully resolved.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the living space is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved booking and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your booking, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
The mattress was worn out and visibly stained, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Only one bedsheet was provided.
The shared living area was not actually shared. I was allowed to use it for breakfast when the host was at work, and since we left around the same time this was barely possible. In the evenings the door was closed, so it was clearly not a common area as described.
The dishwasher did not work properly.
The guest policy was changed compared to what was stated in the contract. According to the booking, guests were allowed for three days free of charge per month. The host only allowed about half of that and demanded 10 euros per night, which I refused.
Positive aspects were the cleaning every two weeks, a fully functional washing machine, and a very good location.

It is somewhat strange that if the stay was so unsatisfactory, why would the guest stay here for four whole months?
I would therefore like to comment on the points in the review.
Dog: The dog lives in the apartment and this is stated in the offer. He is well-behaved and clean. The offer is suitable for those who like dogs or at least don’t mind them.
Living room: It is not a rule that it is automatically shared, as stated in the offer as well.
Dishwasher: The dishwasher was replaced with a brand new one during the guest’s stay.
Visits of the guest friends: The guest was visited by her friends for free several times. However, I believe it is good manners to respect the host’s privacy.
Room: The room is in standard condition and has never been complained about. I believe that guest would slept much better if she kept her room tidy. The room was thoroughly cleaned after the guest’s departure.

Šárka bola počas celého môjho pobytu u nej milá, nápomocná, zhovievavá.
Nemala som s ňou žiaden problém.
Taktiež ubytovanie hodnotím veľmi pozitívne - útulná, postačujúca izba.
Ako pozitívum je poloha bytu. Je blízko k centru, cesta verejnou dopravou netrvá dlho. Okolie je bohaté na rôzne obchodíky rôzneho druhu a tiež reštaurácie z každej svetovej kuchyni.

it’s quiet and lively all at once to be honest. nothing but love for the area!
just walking around letná is beautiful and you’ll find so many things. waf waf is so good and dos mundos has THE BEST hot chocolate.
A lot of restaurants and stores nearby. There is a tram station right outside the apartment.
Nevýhoda: Není zde výtah a byt je ve třetím patře.

The neighbourhood is a lively and enjoyable one with lots of shops and restaurants. You can easily get to the city center. The public transportation is very well served.
Letna is by far the best neighborhood to live in Prague. Its away from the tourists and its quiet. There is also a diverse variety of restaurants in Letna. Letna beer garten also gives you the prefect view of Prague.
