Spacious, quiet, elegant flat in Budapest

I really enjoyed staying in this apartment during my 10 weeks international engineering internship in Budapest. The apartment is very spacious and was in good overall condition, and its location is excellent, in a very pleasant, quiet and secure area close to Hősök tere and Városliget.

I also really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with Szonja throughout my stay. She was very responsive, helpful and kind whenever I had a question or an issue.

I finished my stay with some regret, as I genuinely enjoyed living here. I will keep very good memories of my summer in Budapest in 2026, both from my internship and from my life in this apartment. Thank you, Szonja, for making my stay so enjoyable!

Neighborhood
The neighborhood is very quiet, safe and pleasant. The neighbors are discreet and respectful, and I never experienced any problems or disturbances during my stay. People are friendly and usually say hello when you meet them. The location is also excellent, with Hősök tere and Városliget nearby, as well as easy access to the rest of Budapest.

Recommended places nearby
I would definitely recommend visiting Városliget and Hősök tere, which are very close to the apartment. The area is also a great starting point for exploring Budapest, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. I also really enjoyed simply walking around the neighborhood and discovering the city from there.

Sonia was a great host. If there was a question, she responded immediately and found a solution. The apartment is well equipped with all the things you need for a longer stay. The internet connection was very fast and stable. The apartment is on the 2nd floor in a quiet side street and the house itself was always quiet. Supermarkets and other shops and cafes are only a 5 minute walk away. There is a bus stop almost right outside the front door, which takes you to Keleti train station in 10 minutes. The M1 is about 10 minutes away. It was great that the large city park is opposite and invites you for walks, sports or a cozy cafe.

We had a great stay in Budapest and would rent the apartment again.

Neighborhood
Quiet friendly neighborhood which you can walk alone at night without a problem. It is very safe.

The restaurant Paprika at the corner. Delicious authentic Hungarian Food. You need to make a reservation.

It was the best apartment where I had ever lived. Perfect location near the best park in Budapest. Also, you can walk to the city center in 15 minutes. I would recommend this place to everyone

Amazing place - stayed with my partner for four months.

I really, really enjoyed staying in this apartment. The apartment is spacious with high ceilings and beautifully redecorated. The place has everything one could need, including great WIFI, coffee machine, dishwasher, great shower, and excellent living space.

The apartment is safe and secure with double door access and very quiet. The location is also great, one of the best places to eat is just a stone's throw away, and also there is a SPAR and LIDL within walking distance. Reaching the centre was easy and fast.

The landlady is extremely pleasant and friendly and was always more than happy to help with every question. I will undoubtedly stay here again.
