The apartment was as described in the listing, modern with all the necessary comforts. The shower had excellent water pressure and a good size to turn around. The bedroom is large with access to the balcony. There is a balcony but the view is partially blocked by another building. However, you can see views of the marina and epic sunrises.

The apartment is located less than 10 minutes walk to Praia da Rocha. There are restaurants on both sides of the street. French, Asian fusion, and local Portuguese restaurants are around the corner and across the street. There is a mini mart in the sister building across the street. Spar and Intermarche supermarkets are less than 10 minutes away via walking. Public transportation is nearby. So, a car is not necessary.

The building is located uphill which i was not expecting especially dragging suitcases. Once inside the building, there is a handicap ramp. Besides the unwanted leg exercises , I had a pleasant stay.

Neighborhood
I encountered many local Portuguese and foreigners in the neighborhood. There is an escape room in the next complex over, barbershop, bakery and a French inspired restaurant. There is a pedestrian bridge connecting building 1 and 2. Lots of places to eat, shop for souvenirs, eat pastries, and icecream.

Recommended places nearby
I recommend the following places; Mistral restaurant which is across the street have good prices and delicious food. Momo is a Asian fusion restaurants about 10- 15 minutes walking; everything on the menu is good. Pimpampum for the best hamburgers close to home. Spar supermarket was cleaner and better priced than Intermarche. Asian Tokyo is an all you can eat restaurant with the tastiest honey spare ribs. Lastly, I recommend visiting the Jupiter hotel for their spa packages. The monthly rate for the salt pool, etc is a better deal than 3 visits paying the daily rate.
