Leading competitor platforms
In our comparison, we mainly considered platforms that have a similar focus as Flatio and are also suitable for medium- or long-term stays. In particular, we analyzed data from Booking.com, Spotahome, Homelike and Uniplaces.
Dealing with the tenant Mike was very difficult and I was given wrong and conflicting information from Flatio about who ended the tenancy etc which caused even more issues with the guest. we subsequently got a terrible review but Flatio did nothing to resolve or address this and took no accountability for their part in giving us this misinformation and how it impacted our review. The situation could have been resolved with the guest had we been given the correct information from Flatio. I would still like somebody from Flatio to actually phone me (which appears to be very difficult for them to do) to see if anything can be done.

Flatio does not monitor their listings. Some landlords have not reviewed their listing in over a year. Why list phantom rentals? It makes your platform suspect and ripe for scammers and very hard for the user.

Your customer service sucks honestly I probably won't be using Flatio again. When we had an issue the only response we got was "deal with the landlord" which isn't customer service or helpful at all. If your customer service was better then I would consider using it again. But Faltio made the situation really stressful and wasn't helpful at all.

It was OK. I don't like that I could not call anyone, had to email back and forth and wait for a response. Even when I did leave a message requesting a call (twice) they called me in the middle of the night (2 a.m.), although I explained that I was on U.S. Pacific time and would answer any time between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

I already signed a contract on flatio once, and the contract was "signed" quite instantly, but a little too much. I think that I would feel safer if each step required some time to finish (e.g. you have 30 minutes to cancel the signature on the contract...)

The thing is - you places are more or less same price like Aribnb.
You offer way less and much more expensive things than e.g. Uniplaces.
So in my case I found something nice and suitable - but this seems to be just having good luck.
